A fire broke out around 04:30 on the top floor of a shoe factory with 5,000 square meters of enclosed space in the Leather Organized Industrial Zone in Tuzla, Istanbul. Fire crews are responding from 8 separate points to the flames that quickly engulfed the top floor, part of which is used as a warehouse.
A fire broke out at a shoe factory in Tuzla during the night hours. Response to the fire, to which numerous teams were dispatched, is ongoing.
IT STARTED ON THE ATTIC FLOOR AND SPREAD QUICKLY
The incident occurred around 04:30 at the shoe factory with a 5,000-square-meter enclosed area on Kazlıçeşme Street in the Tuzla Leather Organized Industrial Zone. For a reason not yet known, a fire broke out on the attic floor of the factory.
In the fire that started in a certain section of the area, part of which is known to be used as a warehouse, the flames quickly engulfed the entire attic floor.
RESPONSE FROM 8 SEPARATE POINTS
Upon notification, fire brigade, medical, and police teams were dispatched to the address.
To extinguish the fire, whose flames occasionally reached two meters, teams are responding from 8 separate points.
