Three friends who went to Kayı village, known as the 'haunted village' among the people in Sincan district of Ankara, found the body of an old man in the village while shooting a video. The incident took place on August 18th in Kayı village, which is connected to Sincan district of Ankara. Alperen Yılmaz, Ali Kirman, and Abdullah Demir, who went to the settlement known as the 'haunted village' among the people for their social media accounts, noticed that a man in the village was lying motionless on the ground as soon as they started shooting the video. The three friends, who initially thought that the man had fainted, realized that he was dead and closed the video and informed the authorities. "WE WERE WONDERING IF WE WOULD SEE A PARANORMAL CASE"Alperen Yılmaz, who stated that they started filming paranormal events for their social media accounts and found a dead body in their first video, said, "We did some research to see if there were any paranormal events happening nearby, and we decided to go there. According to what we heard at the end of the research, strange incidents like this were happening in Kayı village. So we decided to go there. We went to that village with the thought that we would encounter an interesting incident that would attract attention for our content on social media. We were wondering if we would see a paranormal case. When we arrived there and encountered a funeral, we felt really bad," he said. "IF WE HADN'T FOUND IT, THE BODY COULD HAVE DECAYED"Yılmaz, stating that they had just arrived in the village and noticed the body as soon as he took the camera in his hand, said, "While we were preparing for the presentation there, I saw someone lying motionless. I turned around and said, 'Come here, I saw something.' Ali and the others thought that the deceased brother was alive. I said, 'The man is dead.' Then we went to him, thinking it was a different entity at first. But when we went closer, we saw that it wasn't the case and that the man was deceased. We immediately called the gendarmerie at the place where the incident happened. The gendarmerie came, and later on, when I uploaded the video to social media, some people didn't believe it because we uploaded it censored. However, the family of the deceased uncle reached out to me. They thanked us for finding him. Besides the negative comments we received, this prayer was enough for us. They said, 'May God bless you' and thanked us," he said. "THE VILLAGE'S NAME HAS BEEN RUINED, PEOPLE APPROACH IT FEARFULLY"Ali Kirman, on the other hand, said that they noticed someone while the cameraman friend was making the opening of the video after they entered the village and took action, saying, "When we approached a bit, we understood that he was dead. Then we informed the gendarmerie without getting too close. It's a really bad feeling; the village's name has already been ruined, and people approach it fearfully. My emotions were really mixed there," he said. "THERE WERE ONLY 2 PEOPLE LIVING IN THE VILLAGE"Abdullah Demir, stating that they immediately called the security forces when they realized that the body they found was dead, said, "When we realized that the body was dead, we immediately thought of calling the police. We called the police, and the gendarmerie teams came. Because it was a gendarmerie area. An ambulance also arrived. The employees in the ambulance and the gendarmerie couldn't approach at first because of the smell. I don't know exactly when the body died. There were only two people living in the village anyway. They say that this uncle, who is one of these two people, died at night, but I don't know how true it is. After the incident, the gendarmerie took our statements. After the statement, they let us go. Actually, the village was evacuated due to landslides. But some social media content creators shared it as the 'haunted village,' and the village headman came and said, 'There is no such thing.' We actually came to investigate this," he said.
