The TFF has made changes to the eligibility of players in professional leagues. The Federation announced that clubs in the Trendyol Super Lig can have 14 foreign players in their A Team squads and 12 foreign players in their match squads.

The Board of Directors of the Turkish Football Federation (TFF) announced today that changes have been made to player eligibility in professional leagues. According to the decision, the number of foreign players in the Super League will be 14 in the new season.

In a statement from the TFF, it was stated that changes in player eligibility in professional leagues were decided at the meeting of the TFF Board of Directors today.

The decisions regarding player eligibility in professional leagues are as follows:

In the Trendyol Super League, the number of players in the A Team list has been increased from 26 to 28, and the possibility of including 14 players who are not eligible to play for the Turkish National Team in the A Team list has been provided. It was decided to continue the practice of including 12 of these players in the match name list.

In the Trendyol 1st League, the number of players who are not eligible to play for the Turkish National Team and will be included in the A Team list has been determined as 8. It has been made possible for a maximum of 6 of these players to be on the field at the same time in the ongoing squad.

In the TFF 2nd and TFF 3rd Leagues, it was decided that the player eligibility rules applied in the 2023 - 2024 season will continue unchanged this season by making age adjustments.
