The Ordinary Financial and Elective General Assembly Meeting of the Turkish Football Federation, in which the current president Mehmet Büyükekşi and İbrahim Hacıosmanoğlu are competing, is being held in Ankara. Mehmet Büyükekşi responded to the criticisms of Fenerbahçe President Ali Koç by saying, "We have been subjected to the insults of the president of a very valuable community. I condemn these statements. We respect the criticisms, but with a respectful manner! Actions speak louder than words! We have done our work by fulfilling it, not just talking about it. We cannot waste time on discussions fueled by chaos just to save the day. In order to grow Turkish football, we must work together without prejudice."
HE ANNOUNCED HIS PROJECTS

- Clubs' Spor Toto and betting revenues will increase.
- Sponsorship and broadcasting revenues will continue to increase.

TFF Presidential candidate İbrahim Hacıosmanoğlu made statements at the Ordinary Financial and Elective General Assembly of the TFF.
"WE WILL PROHIBIT CLUB PRESIDENTS FROM BEING REFERRED TO THE PFDK"
Speaking about the ballot papers, Hacıosmanoğlu said, "We were going to choose the white one. Because we want to open a white page in Turkish football." Hacıosmanoğlu said, "If I come out of this hall as the president, my first action will be to prohibit club presidents from being referred to the PFDK."
"TURKISH FOOTBALL NEEDS JUSTICE"
Stating that he knows the problems of Turkish football, İbrahim Hacıosmanoğlu said, "Turkish football needs fair and just governance. We say justice in football. All our problems stem from injustice. It is not difficult for the President of the TFF to provide justice. If you don't have the intention to provide it, why are you running for office? Büyükekşi said, 'We established an academy, we trained referees.' How did they train? I don't understand. Can you show the will as the president? We played with President Mecnun, we are equal to every team. It is not difficult to achieve this! However, if you don't have the intention to provide justice, why are you running for office? You please one person one week, and another person the next week. If you do this, the ones below will scatter. We ruled the world for 600 years, but we don't trust our own children. We give so much money to foreign referees."
İbrahim Hacıosmanoğlu also mentioned the candidacy process and said, "When I decided to run, I called President Mecnun first. Although we had been very good friends in this board before, there had been a small argument between us. I said, 'Mr. President, Turkish football now needs peace, tranquility, and brotherhood.'"
BÜYÜKEKŞİ AND HIS BOARDS WERE APPROVED
Turkish Football Federation (TFF) President Mehmet Büyükekşi and his boards were approved by majority vote at the Ordinary Financial and Elective General Assembly.
At the congress held at the JW Marriott Hotel, TFF President Mehmet Büyükekşi, the management board, and the audit board's accounts and activities covering the period from June 1, 2023, to May 31, 2024, were put to a vote of approval. Mehmet Büyükekşi and his boards were approved by majority vote.
Meanwhile, a motion was submitted to lift the fines and penalties of deprivation of money and rights imposed by the Professional Football Discipline Board (PFDK) and approved by the Arbitration Board. In the voting conducted by the Chairman of the Board, Mehmet Baykan, the majority accepted the addition of the motion as a general assembly item. This motion will be discussed as the last item on the agenda. A two-thirds majority vote is required for the acceptance of the item.
