Many of these women, who were previously housewives, are stepping outside the conventional production understanding with the products they produce. A SIGNATURE OF HANDMADE IN MANY PRODUCTSStarting with the production of "saya," which refers to the upper part of shoes made entirely of leather, the women from Kayseri provide production for brands by assembling an entire shoe at the Başakpınar Umay Women's Cooperative. GARDEN FURNITURETwo women's cooperatives operating in the İncesu district are producing garden furniture in collaboration. The Kervansaray Han Women's Cooperative produces garden furniture such as swings, tables, and sofas made from rat, while the Development and Solidarity Women's Cooperative produces covers and cushions made from textiles. FROM DUBAI TO TRABZONThe Sarıoğlan Women's Cooperative, established by women in the Sarıoğlan district, showcases how dominant they are on the world stage with the chocolates they produce under the SARKA brand. Being one of the first companies to produce the globally popular Dubai Chocolate, SARKA has now started producing Trabzon Chocolate and has begun to take its place in shopping malls in the city center. COOPERATIVE ROASTED WITH ITS OWN OILIn Kayseri, which has a rich historical background and tourism potential alongside women's entrepreneurship, women in the Ağırnas neighborhood, where Mimar Sinan was born, generate income for their budgets with the Aspir Oils obtained from local Aspir seeds in the Ağırnas Mimar Sinan Women's Cooperative, while also delivering health and flavor to tables through agreements made with national chain markets. GACER FLOUR AND OYSTER MUSHROOMIn the women's cooperative established in the Develi district, all pastry products made from flour obtained from the ancestral Gacer seed are presented to citizens at the Gacer Cafe, while the healthy aspects of Gacer flour are also highlighted. In the Tomarza district, Oyster Mushrooms grown in special production areas are delivered to tables through chain markets without being touched. In addition to these products, production continues in many different areas such as carpets, rugs, textiles, souvenirs, coffee, Turkish delight, dumplings, and sherbet within the Kayseri Women's Cooperatives. THEIR TURNOVER IS ASTOUNDINGThanks to the efforts of the Kayseri Governorship, Governor Gökmen Çiçek, and his team, the Kayseri Women's Cooperatives, which have been completed in terms of legal personality, location, and building requirements, have been provided with mechanization and equipment support, and have been prepared for production and turned into an industry, are impressing with their turnover. Within 24 months, the total turnover of the Kayseri Women's Cooperatives reached 132 million TL, while the women have achieved a monthly turnover of 5.5 million TL. The women of Kayseri, perhaps one of the most successful cities in trade, are breaking production records with their entrepreneurial efforts in this field and are starting to reap the fruits of their labor and effort, stating with their developed slogan: "Kayseri Women's Cooperatives are the address of women who work with effort and earn with pride…"
