In the scope of the investigation into the Ahbap Association, the student dormitory in Göktürk that prompted the investigation was captured by drone footage. It was observed that Ahbap logos and banners had been removed and left on an empty plot of land. The investigation is being conducted based on a criminal complaint filed by Başaran Holding.
The student dormitory in Göktürk, which has been a topic of public debate and mentioned in the complaint file as part of the investigation into the Ahbap Association, founded and chaired by singer Haluk Levent, was captured by drone footage.
AHBAP LOGOS REMOVED, DISCARDED NEARBY
The footage shows that the Ahbap logos on the exterior of the dormitory, which is in rough construction, and banners related to the student guesthouse have been removed, with the taken-down banners left on an empty plot of land around the dormitory.
"NOT USED FOR THE PROMISED PURPOSE"
Within the scope of the investigation launched by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office into the Ahbap Association, it is claimed that the criminal complaint filed by Başaran Holding Chairman Hüseyin Başaran is one of the key foundations of the case.
The complaint petition stated that the property transfer was carried out with the promise of "building a dormitory for orphaned girls," but later it was alleged that the properties were not used for the promised purpose. These allegations are being examined by the prosecutor's office as part of the investigation.
The student dormitory in Göktürk, which is referenced in the investigation and subject to the allegations, was captured from the air.
In the drone footage, the building's rough construction appears largely completed, while it was notable that the Ahbap logos and promotional banners for the student guesthouse on the building's exterior had been removed after the investigation began.
The removed banners were seen left on an empty plot of land next to the dormitory building in the footage.
