The colorful slide, measuring 161 meters in length, has been set up at an altitude of 1600 meters in the Akçaabat district of Trabzon, welcoming adrenaline enthusiasts.

The Hıdırnebi Plateau, located closest to Trabzon, stands out not only for its natural beauty but also for its adrenaline-filled activities.

Located 35 kilometers from the city center, the plateau offers unmatched scenic views with its natural beauty in every season.

161-METER COLORFUL SLIDE

The 161-meter colorful slide, built by tourism operator Sinan Gedikoğlu, who is also the headman of Kuruçam Neighborhood, offers a different alternative for visitors in the misty and cool air of the Black Sea.

PROVIDES A SENSE OF "BEING NEIGHBORS WITH CLOUDS"

Adrenaline enthusiasts visiting the plateau enjoy themselves amidst the unique scenery of nature. The plateau, which gives its guests the feeling of "being neighbors with clouds" with its view from the top, also offers alternatives such as photo safaris, nature walks, shooting ranges, ziplining, and horseback riding.

"COMPLETELY GREEN AND NATURE-FRIENDLY"

Operator Sinan Gedikoğlu stated that he has been in the tourism sector for 12 years and has been working to realize this project for about a year. Emphasizing that the project did not harm nature, Gedikoğlu said, "We did not make any concrete work in nature. It is completely a pile system. It is completely green and nature-friendly."

"WE SAID LET'S INTRODUCE A NEW CONCEPT"

Gedikoğlu noted that Hıdırnebi Plateau is one of the most popular tourism destinations in Trabzon, saying, "We said, 'Let's introduce a new concept here,' and decided to create this concept. The total length was about 160 meters; we added 1 meter and updated it to 161. Maybe later, if there is demand, we will have the opportunity to extend it a bit more."

Gedikoğlu explained that the slide they opened during the Eid al-Adha attracted great interest, stating, "People are coming from Rize, Giresun, and Ordu, in addition to foreign guests. Therefore, our doing this adds a new concept to Hıdırnebi Plateau."

"LAST YEAR WE STARTED RECEIVING MORE RESERVATIONS THAN THE YEAR BEFORE"

Gedikoğlu mentioned that a good start was made to the tourism season in the region, stating, "I am also a hotelier. We started receiving more reservations than last year and the previous years. So, it’s like the 7th and 8th months of the hotel are full. I expect this season to go well."

"WE WANT THESE ACTIVITIES TO INCREASE EVEN MORE"

Ogün Bakırcı, who has been a tradesman in the plateau for about 32 years, expressed that the visitor density has increased compared to last year. He mentioned that there is a high potential for visitors during the Eid al-Adha holiday, saying, "As tradesmen, we are pleased with the crowd. There are also activities being held here. That’s why there is a density. We want these activities to increase even more."

Bakırcı expressed that they expect the summer season to be filled with activities, saying, "Our expectation this year is that it will be very nice. We, as tradesmen, are ready to provide the necessary services here. We have also made our preparations accordingly. We are waiting for our visitors."

"SLIDING AMONG THE MISTS IS EVEN MORE BEAUTIFUL"

Yasemin Kocaman, who came to the plateau with her family after seeing colorful slide posts on social media, said, "I saw this place on the internet. I gathered my family and came. My husband and I will have a different experience together. The weather is misty, but we will try it. I think it will be nice."

Zeynep Tarakçı also expressed her curiosity after encountering colorful slide posts on social media, continuing her words: "Today it was our chance to come, it’s very beautiful. We liked it so much that we plan to slide 3-4 more times. Sliding among the mists is more beautiful. The video, the visuals, and the scenery are very beautiful.

In the video I saw, the weather was sunny, but I think this state is more beautiful.

Onur Ayvaz also said that he enjoyed the slide a lot, stating, "It was quite nice, it was fun. Since I was a bit heavy, we spun around. It became even more beautiful when it spun. It was quite enjoyable."
