A domestic fight that broke out at midnight in İzmir's Bayraklı district ended in bloodshed. In the incident, a 73-year-old father allegedly stabbed and killed his son, who was claimed to be a drug addict, and it was revealed that the deceased had 22 different criminal records.
A person who stabbed and killed his son during an argument in Izmir's Bayrakli district has been taken into custody.
STABBED REPEATEDLY
A fight broke out for an undetermined reason between Ismail A. (73) and his son Kemal A. (46), who lived in an apartment in the Manavkuyu neighborhood. When the argument turned into a brawl, the father, Ismail A., stabbed his son in the chest and left leg with a knife. Upon notification, health and police teams were dispatched to the scene. During the check by medical teams, it was determined that Kemal A. had died at the scene.
22 CRIME RECORDS FOUND
It was learned that the suspect, Ismail A., who was caught with the murder weapon by police, claimed in his initial statement that his son was a drug addict, that he attacked him during the incident and squeezed his throat, and that he stabbed him because he could not bear it. Meanwhile, it was determined that the deceased Kemal A. had 22 records for various crimes.
