The 98-year-old woman lost her life under the construction machinery.

A horrific death incident occurred in the Özburun town of Bolvadin district in Afyonkarahisar. On Tuesday around 11:30, the construction machine driven by B.K. (40), while reversing, hit Fidan Yayla (98), who was walking on the road.

ELDERLY WOMAN DIED

Upon the notification of the surrounding people, health and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the scene. The health team took Yayla to Bolvadin State Hospital. Yayla passed away in the hospital.

SHE HAD EXPERIENCED TERROR IN 2023

The accident was captured by security cameras, and it was reported in the media that Fidan Yayla had been tied to her bed by burglars who entered her home on January 8, 2023, and that the suspects stole 2 republican gold coins and 900 lira before fleeing.
