In the tragic accident, Aslan and his wife lost their lives, and their 5-month-old baby was seriously injured. At the funeral, the heartbreaking words of Haydar Aslan's grieving brother, "How could you do this to me," shattered hearts.

The accident occurred on June 5 at around 23:45 near the Ambarlar Junction on Ankara Boulevard. The car driven by E.E., heading towards Bornova from the direction of Kemalpaşa, crossed into the opposite lane after the driver lost control and collided with the car driven by Haydar Aslan. E.E.'s car rolled over and was dragged for meters, while the other vehicle crashed into the barriers. In the accident, both Haydar Aslan and his wife Ecemnur Aslan lost their lives.



5-MONTH-OLD BABY SERIOUSLY INJURED



The 5-month-old baby of the Aslan family, V.E.A., was taken to Ege University Medical Faculty Hospital, while the other driver E.E. was taken to Bornova Türkan Özilhan State Hospital. After the initial intervention at the hospital, E.E. was transferred to Bayraklı City Hospital. It was reported that E.E. and V.E.A., who are in critical condition, are still receiving treatment. Meanwhile, it was noted that Haydar Aslan was on his way to his sister Merve Aslan's wedding with his wife and their 5-month-old baby.

"HOW COULD YOU DO THIS TO ME?"



The bodies of Gendarmerie Specialist Sergeant Haydar Aslan and his wife Ecemnur Aslan were handed over to their families after the autopsy procedures. The body of Haydar Aslan was brought to his hometown Kırşehir, while the body of his wife Ecemnur Aslan was taken to Ankara. A funeral prayer was held for Haydar Aslan at Ahi Evran Mosque. The funeral was attended by Governor Murat Sefa Demiryürek, Kırşehir Mayor Selahattin Ekicioğlu, Provincial Gendarmerie Commander Colonel Ahmet Yıldırım, Haydar Aslan's family and relatives, along with many citizens. At the funeral, Haydar Aslan's sister Merve Aslan, who was wrapped in a Turkish flag, wept, saying, "How could you do this to me?" After the funeral prayer held here, Aslan was laid to rest in Dulkadirli İnlimurat village.



The body of his wife Ecemnur Aslan was bid farewell at the Karşıyaka cemetery in the Yenimahalle district of Ankara.
