ANGRY GROOM BURNED THE NEIGHBORHOOD
The incident occurred on Thursday in Aşağısoku Plateau. Harun Y., who came to the plateau with two friends, poured gasoline and set fire to the house belonging to his father-in-law, Hayati Ç. The flames from the wooden house spread to 4 houses, 4 barns, and 4 haylofts due to the wind. A total of 12 structures were rendered unusable in the fire.
FRIENDS TAKEN INTO CUSTODY
In the investigation launched, Harun Y.'s friends who came to the plateau with him were caught and taken into custody by the gendarmerie on the Anadolu Highway. After their procedures, 2 individuals who were referred to the court were released.
300 HOURS OF CAMERA RECORDS REVIEWED
To capture Harun Y., police and gendarmerie teams launched a large-scale operation. Bolu Police Department Public Order Branch teams reviewed 300 hours of security camera footage and tracked down the suspect. Harun Y., who was noticed in Akpınar Neighborhood, was caught and taken into custody after being followed.
HIDING IN A CEMETERY AND FOREST
It was learned that Harun Y., whose wife left the house 3 months ago and moved to her father's house, was hiding in a cemetery and in the forest, and was trying to find money to escape.
ARRESTED
After undergoing a health check and completing his procedures at the police station, the suspect was handed over to the gendarmerie teams and was arrested by the judicial authorities to whom he was referred.
