State Theaters General Director Tamer Karadağlı, who made statements before the opening play of the Antalya 16th International Theater Festival of State Theaters, was booed by the audience during his speech.
"IF THERE IS THEATER, ANTALYA IS A STAGE"
The Antalya 16th International Theater Festival of State Theaters, held in Antalya, has started. Speaking before the opening play at the Aspendos Ancient Theater, State Theaters General Director Karadağlı said, "Today, we are not just opening a festival. We are reviving a dream, a passion, and a millennia-old heritage. On this path we set out with the motto 'If there is theater, Antalya is a stage,' we are proudly and enthusiastically raising our curtains for the 16th time."
Karadağlı stated, "While bringing together theater groups from three continents in Antalya, we are actually bringing together not only plays but also cultures, emotions, and stories."
