In the investigation of the terrorist organization PKK, Tunceli Mayor Cevdet Konak and Ovacık Mayor Mustafa Sarıgül, who received prison sentences, have been suspended from their duties. The Ministry of Interior announced that Tunceli Mayor Cevdet Konak and Ovacık Mayor Mustafa Sarıgül have been suspended from their duties. Konak and Sarıgül were sentenced to 6 years and 3 months in prison as part of a PKK terrorist organization investigation.
GOVERNOR TEKBIYIKOĞLU HAS STARTED HIS DUTIES
After the suspension of Tunceli Mayor Cevdet Konak, Governor Bülent Tekbıyıkoğlu, who was appointed as "Acting Mayor," went to the municipal building at night in an official vehicle.

Hüseyin Şamil Sözen, the Ovacık District Governor appointed as "Acting Mayor" in place of Ovacık Mayor Mustafa Sarıgül, who was sentenced to prison for "being a member of the terrorist organization PKK/KCK" and suspended from his duties, also went to the municipal building to start his duties.
