In the Finike district of Antalya, a young waiter was stabbed and lost his life as a result of a dispute over a bill at an entertainment venue. Three customers have been detained in connection with the incident.

A group that found the bill too high at an entertainment venue in the Finike district of Antalya got into a fight with the staff, resulting in the stabbing of waiter Ekrem Bolkaç (25), who lost his life. The incident occurred last night at a music entertainment venue in Arif Neighborhood. Three customers objected to the bill after having fun. After arguing with the staff, the three left and returned about two hours later, allegedly shouting, "Is this how a bill is?" and cursing. In the ensuing fight, Ekrem Bolkaç, one of the waiters at the venue, was injured with a knife.

Upon notification, health and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the address. Ekrem Bolkaç lost his life in the ambulance while being taken to the hospital. The gendarmerie seized the weapon at the scene during their investigation. The suspects and the business owner were taken into custody. The suspects claimed in their statements that they did not stab Volkan Bolkaç and denied the allegations. The gendarmerie initiated fingerprint and evidence examination on the knife. After the investigation, the person who stabbed Bolkaç will be identified. Volkan Bolkaç, who was married and had a 2-year-old daughter, will be buried in his hometown of Uşak.
