The incident occurred in the Ballıkaya Neighborhood of the Akyazı district. According to the information obtained, Yakup Çakır, who fell ill after a family argument at home, died despite all the doctors' interventions at the hospital where he was taken.
The funeral of the deceased Yakup Çakır was buried with prayers in the neighborhood cemetery following the funeral prayer held at the Ballıkaya Neighborhood Central Mosque.
FATHER DIED, SON ARRESTED
Following the incident, within the scope of the investigation initiated by the gendarmerie teams, Yakup Çakır's 27-year-old son, Y.İ.Ç., was detained. Y.İ.Ç., who was allegedly involved in physical contact with his family before the incident, was referred to the courthouse after his procedures at the gendarmerie. The suspect, brought before the judge, was arrested and sent to prison.
