Footage of a player in pink shorts kicking his opponent, Peter Shonk, in the face and knocking him to the ground went viral on social media after the match. Following the incident, Shonk's partner intervened with the attacker. It was reported that Shonk did not suffer any serious injuries. The location of the incident is still unknown.

Before the incident, Shonk, wearing a green t-shirt, celebrated his victory by shouting, "Come on! Let's go!" As the four players approached the net to shake hands, Shonk dropped the racket of his opponent in pink shorts.

As Shonk bent down to pick up the racket, the angry player in pink shorts kicked him in the face with his right foot. While Shonk's partner intervened with the aggressor, bystanders tried to prevent the fight. It was reported that Shonk did not suffer any serious injuries.

This sport, in which famous athletes like Tom Brady and LeBron James have invested in Major Pickleball League teams, has gained significant interest in recent years.
