The aunt of Sila, who was subjected to abuse, spoke: "I can't even say the word brother."

In the case of the sexual abuse and violence against baby Sıla in the Malkara district of Tekirdağ, the baby's aunt and the family's lawyer spoke. The aunt of baby Sıla demanded that everyone involved in this incident, even if they were her siblings, be punished severely and stated that they would follow the process.

While the treatment of Sıla Y., who is a victim of sexual assault and violence in the Malkara district of Tekirdağ, continues, it is learned that her condition remains serious. While the detention of the mother Bakiye Y. and the other 4 suspects continues, Bakiye Y.'s sister Aslı Tatar spoke about the process. Aslı Tatar stated that they tried to take the children with them before the incidents and that the court process is still ongoing.

"WE HAD FILED FOR GUARDIANSHIP BEFORE THE INCIDENTS"

In her statement, the aunt of baby Sıla, Aslı Tatar, who did not even tell the truth to her own family, said, "Bakiye constantly complained about my father and my brother. The babies were being taken care of very well at home. During the period when Bakiye was in prison, her aunts Elif and our other sister were taking care of the babies very well. Even before these incidents, my sister had filed for guardianship to take the children from us. In fact, as far as I know, there is a hearing about the guardianship case on the 19th of this month. We had already filed for guardianship before these incidents happened. When Bakiye went to prison and when we learned that she was using drugs, she went to the police station and said, 'I use and sell drugs' and after that, we thought that Bakiye could not be a good mother to the children and a good person, so my sister filed for guardianship. However, a person named Sanlı took my sister away from us. Since she went to him, we had no idea about these incidents until she called us and said, 'They beat me and Sıla. Sıla is in intensive care.' I can't even call her my sister. We thank our President. He is as concerned about the Narin case as he is about this case. He said that he will do his best to punish the criminals. I also thank Egemen Bey, the President of the Tekirdağ Bar Association," and stated that she demanded the most severe punishment for the criminals.

"TOOTH MARKS ARE FROM PREVIOUS DATES"

The family's lawyer, Ahmet Berksoy, stated that the family has been following the case since the beginning and has been trying to contribute to the fair, effective, and speedy conduct of the investigation by the law enforcement officers. Berksoy also stated that the family members, including the mother of baby Sıla Y., want the criminals to be punished severely. In his statement, Berksoy said, "It is important to note that legitimizing and accepting this situation in any way is not possible and acceptable. Although the family has no moral or legal responsibility for the care and supervision of the child from the past, they have tried to fulfill everything that is expected of them during the period when their sisters and daughters may be deficient and faulty in this regard, even though they are in prison. It is already obvious that their sisters seriously neglected their legal responsibility, and this crime and the perpetrator, without any room for debate, favoritism, or destruction of evidence. The prosecution and law enforcement units are already conducting this process with sensitivity and meticulousness," and stated that they know that the tooth marks on Sıla Y.'s body are from previous dates.
