According to a report by L'Equipe, one of France's leading newspapers, UEFA has launched an investigation into the incidents that occurred after the Lyon-Fenerbahçe match. The report stated that Fenerbahçe's Matteo Guendouzi would be evaluated under Article 15 of the UEFA Disciplinary Regulations, titled "Improper conduct of players and officials".
GUENDOUZI COULD FACE 1-3 MATCH BAN
It was reported that if Guendouzi's behavior is evaluated under the categories of "insult", "unsportsmanlike conduct", or "inciting spectators", the French player could receive a suspension of between 1 and 3 matches.
