Konya Provincial Police Department teams initiated proceedings against a driver who drifted in front of a wedding convoy and endangered traffic safety.
FINE EXCEEDING 232 THOUSAND LIRA
Following the investigation, the driver was subjected to a total administrative fine of 232,719 Turkish Lira under the Highway Traffic Law No. 2918 for drifting, blocking the road with a wedding convoy, and driving a vehicle without inspection.
DRIVER'S LICENSE CONFISCATED, VEHICLE BANNED FROM TRAFFIC
Police confiscated the driver's license for 120 days. The vehicle used for drifting was also banned from traffic for 120 days.
LEGAL ACTION ALSO INITIATED
In addition to administrative sanctions, it was reported that legal proceedings were initiated against the driver for the crime of "Endangering Traffic Safety."
