The wife of Oğuz Murat Aci, who lost his life in a traffic accident, Şükriye Aci, withdrew her complaint against Eylem Tok and her son Timur Cihantimur, stating, "We received the compensation that my son and I were entitled to." The grieving father, Özer Aci, who reacted to his daughter-in-law, posed the question, "What will you say when that child grows up and asks, 'Did you feed me with my father's blood?'"
On March 1, 2024, in Kemerburgaz, Istanbul, the case of Timur Cihantimur and his mother Eylem Tok, who attempted to kidnap him, came back to the forefront of Turkey's agenda following the traffic accident that claimed the life of Oğuz Murat Aci.
TOOK MONEY, DROPPED THE COMPLAINT
Şükriye Aci, the wife of Oğuz Murat Aci, who is a complainant in the case, submitted a petition stating that she has withdrawn her complaint against Cihantimur and Tok. The petition stated, "The material and moral damages suffered by Şükriye Aci due to this incident have been compensated by Bülent Cihantimur, the father of the child Timur Cihantimur, who caused the accident."
"WE HAVE RECEIVED THE COMPENSATION WE ARE ENTITLED TO"
In a statement regarding the matter, Şükriye Aci said, "We have received the compensation that my son and I are entitled to. I know that the public case will continue. However, I decided to withdraw from the case because I have been very worn out by my husband's family," she said.
DIFFICULT QUESTION FROM THE GRIEVING FATHER TO HIS BRIDE
Özer Aci, the father of Oğuz Murat Aci, stated on Ekol TV, "Is my son going to rise up from the grave? I have not been offered any financial compensation. Since I did not want this financially, Şükriye Hanım's (Oğuz Murat Aci's wife) lawyers separated the case. I have been trying for a year. I am the father of the deceased child, I am the one suffering; she is the one who lost a husband of three years. My son left behind 10 million. He was living in a villa with a pool, he left and went. When that child grows up and asks, 'Did you feed me with my father's blood?' what will she say? This case will not end here," he said.
WHAT HAPPENED?
On March 1, 2024, in Eyüpsultan, Istanbul, one of the three ATVs in motion broke down, and while the broken-down vehicle was being repaired on the roadside, one of the two vehicles moving in the same direction crashed into the three ATVs, resulting in five injuries, including the death of Oğuz Murat Aci. It was determined that the 17-year-old driver Timur Cihantimur's mother, Eylem Tok, left the scene in her vehicle and traveled first to Egypt and then to the USA.
