Four people lost their lives and three others were seriously injured when a light commercial vehicle collided with a parked truck from behind in Ahmetli district of Manisa.

The accident occurred around 06:00 in Gökkaya Mahallesi on the Uşak-İzmir highway. The driver of the light commercial vehicle, whose identity is not yet known, collided with the parked truck on the emergency lane. As a result of the collision, the light commercial vehicle turned into scrap.

Upon the notification, numerous health, fire brigade, police, and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the scene. While four people in the light commercial vehicle lost their lives at the scene of the accident, three seriously injured individuals were transported to Turgutlu State Hospital by ambulances. An investigation has been launched regarding the accident.
