The husband, known as Pei, was a bright student and had secured a high-level position in an international company due to his outstanding academic achievements. The wife, known as Lan, was beautiful and kind-hearted. After getting married, Lan began to take care of the household chores as a homemaker.

Pei's frequent travels for work caused Lan to become increasingly isolated. To cope with her loneliness, she sought conversation and comfort through online chat services. One day, when Pei returned home, he found Lan talking on the phone with another man. Although Lan quickly ended the call and claimed it was just a casual conversation with a friend, Pei began to suspect his wife's hidden intentions. Due to his ongoing concerns, one day he checked her phone while she was in the shower and discovered ongoing conversations with several men she had met online.
