The Communications Directorate, which denied the claims reported by some media outlets, stated, "These allegations are speculative in nature, lacking any concrete information, and are intended for manipulation."
It was claimed in some media outlets that President Erdoğan said, "This may be our last meeting with some friends" at the last Cabinet meeting. The Disinformation Combat Center (DMM) denied the allegations. It was stated that the claims are not based on any concrete information and are intended for manipulation.
"DOES NOT REFLECT THE TRUTH"
In a written statement from the DMM, it was noted that there were claims in some media outlets and on social media that President Erdoğan said, "This may be our last meeting with some friends" at the last Cabinet Meeting.
In the statement emphasizing that the claims do not reflect the truth, the following expressions were included:
"Such content is an open disinformation activity aimed at misleading the public. Our President has definitely not made such a statement at the Cabinet Meeting. The claims in question are speculative in nature and are statements intended for manipulation, lacking any concrete information."
"PRESIDENT ERDOĞAN CAN EXERCISE HIS AUTHORITY WHEN HE DEEMS NECESSARY"
In the statement, it was conveyed that President Erdoğan can exercise his powers regarding the cabinet within the framework of his constitutional authority whenever he deems it necessary:
"In the event of such a development, the public will only be informed through official channels. Content created in the opposite direction is irresponsible publishing that is far from journalistic ethics, aiming only to create an agenda and gain interaction. As the Disinformation Combat Center, we invite our citizens to trust only the statements made by official sources and to be cautious against unverified content."
