WATER MANAGEMENT COMPANY MADE A STATEMENTAfter Demet Akalın's post, the teams of MUSKİ General Directorate in Bodrum went to the villa to check the water usage again. MUSKİ teams stated that there was no mistake in the inspection and responded to Demet Akalın through MUSKİ's social media account. The statement included the following expressions: "Due to some posts on social media regarding water bills, our institution has been subjected to some criticism. Therefore, it was deemed necessary to make a statement about the issue. "NO MALFUNCTION DETECTED IN THE WATER METER"Yesterday, Ms. Demet Akalın made a post on social media stating that she received an 18 thousand TL water bill for her house where she does not live. Upon this complaint, our teams checked Ms. Akalın's water meter to see if there was any problem caused by our institution. In the inspections conducted, no malfunction was detected in the meter, and it was determined that the amount of water used corresponds to the amount billed. Although Ms. Akalın's water consumption in the same periods last year and months was not as high as this month, it was observed that it was still in high amounts. Therefore, Ms. Demet Akalın was informed by our institution that she should have her water meter checked for any malfunctions and, if desired, have the automatic garden irrigation system and swimming pool circulation systems in her house checked. Finally, it should be known that if there is any inconvenience caused by our institution in water bills, it will be quickly compensated and resolved."
