The Competition Authority imposed fines on several companies operating in the cosmetics sector. The Authority decided to impose an administrative fine of 31 million 395 thousand 634 lira on three companies as a result of a settlement.

According to the announcement on the website of the Competition Authority, the investigation conducted against the economic integrity consisting of Biota Herbal Medicines and Cosmetics Laboratories Inc., which operates under the brands Bioxin, Bioder, Biobaby, and Nutraxin, Derma Cos Pharmaceutical Medical and Cosmetic Industry and Domestic Trade Inc., and Derma-Cos Cosmetic Industry Trade Import and Export Limited Company, was completed on the grounds that they violated the Law on the Protection of Competition by determining the resale prices of the sellers.

In this context, as a result of the request for reconciliation regarding the mentioned economic integrity, it was decided to impose an administrative fine of 31 million 395 thousand 634 lira.
