In the investigation regarding the disappearance of Gülistan Doku, which has been closely followed by the public for a long time and conducted by the Tunceli Republic Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, the narrowed base report, which is an expert report, has been added to the file. According to the prepared narrowed base report, it has been revealed that Gülistan Doku was not alone on the viaduct where she last gave a base signal. It was determined that Mustafa Türkay Sonel, the son of the then Tunceli Governor Tuncay Sonel, Umut Altaş, Erdoğan Elaldı, and Şükrü Eroğlu were also there.
In the investigation regarding the disappearance of university student Gülistan Doku, who has been missing since January 5, 2020, in Tunceli, the narrowed cell tower report, which is an expert report, has been added to the file. The 22-page Narrowed Cell Tower Report, the prosecution's strongest evidence, proved that the suspects, who until now claimed "we have no involvement in the incident," were actually at the very heart of the murder.
FORMER GOVERNOR'S SON ALSO IN CUSTODY
The day before yesterday, Mustafa Türkay Sonel, the son of the then Tunceli Governor Tuncay Sonel, Gülistan Doku's boyfriend Zeinal Abakarov, Zeinal's mother Cemile Yücer and stepfather Engin Yücer, along with Uğurcan Açıkgöz, Erdoğan Elaldı, Gökhan Ertok, Savaş Gültürk, Süleyman Önal, Celal Altaş, Nurşen Arıkan, Ferhat Hanedan, and Şükrü Eroğlu were taken into custody. An arrest warrant has been issued for suspect Umut Altaş, who is reported to be a close friend of suspect Mustafa Türkay Sonel and is currently in the USA.
GÜLİSTAN DOKU AND SUSPECTS GAVE CELL TOWER SIGNALS AT THE SAME POINT
In the prepared HTS (cell tower) examination report, the areas where the suspects' phones gave signals on the day of the incident and before were analyzed in detail. The report highlighted the finding that on January 5, 2020, in particular, many phone lines were concentrated around Tunceli city center and the Sarı Saltuk Viaduct.
According to the expert examination, it was assessed that the last signals from missing Gülistan Doku's phone were also received in this area, and it showed activity around the viaduct at certain time intervals. The report also noted, among other noteworthy elements, the possibility that the phone was not giving a signal or was turned off during some time periods.
SUSPECTS IN THE SAME PLACE AT THE SAME TIME
The technical data in the cell tower report exposed the suspects. On December 27, 2019, shortly before the disappearance, the phones of Gülistan Doku, Mustafa Türkay Sonel (son of the then Governor Tuncay Sonel), Zeinal Abakarov, and Umut Altaş all gave signals simultaneously around the Youth Center. This situation shows that the suspects had been closely following Gülistan even before the incident and coincides with the period during which allegations of assault/sexual assault are claimed to have occurred.
GÜLİSTAN WAS NOT ALONE AT THAT VIADUCT
On the other hand, it was determined that Mustafa Türkay Sonel (son of the then Tunceli Governor Tuncay Sonel), Umut Altaş, Erdoğan Elaldı, and Şükrü Eroğlu also gave signals in the same area around the Sarı Saltuk Viaduct, where Gülistan Doku was last seen.
It was found that the phone of fugitive suspect Umut Altaş was stationary in the Sarı Saltuk Viaduct area, where Gülistan was last seen, from 19:28 to 21:36.
It was confirmed by cell tower data that starting from 22:08, the governor's son Mustafa Türkay Sonel and the governor's bodyguard Şükrü Eroğlu also came to the same area and met with Umut Altaş.
It was reported that between 23:36 and 06:55 in the morning, when murder allegations intensified, the suspects' phones were simultaneously turned off or their signal transmission was blocked.
