Ismail Abdo, wanted by Interpol with a red notice for "Leadership of an Armed Criminal Organization," was captured by police teams in Seyhan, Adana. It was revealed that Abdo, also known as "Kurdish Fox," had ordered the murder of Rawa Majid's mother, who lives in Sweden, and came to Turkey after the conflicts between the two groups. After the procedures at the police station, Abdo was referred to the courthouse and released on bail of 20,000 lira by the court.
Patrol teams affiliated with the Seyhan District Police Department in Adana suspected a car during an operation in Gülbahçesi Neighborhood. The police teams blocked the entrances and exits of the neighborhood and stopped the car driven by Ahmet Y. The driver, Ahmet Y., and the unidentified person were taken out of the police vehicle.
INTERPOL WAS SEARCHING WITH A RED NOTICE
It was determined that the unidentified suspect was wearing a bulletproof vest during the body search. In the identity check, the police determined that the suspect was Ismail Abdo, who was wanted with a red notice by Interpol for "Leading an armed criminal organization". A non-licensed pistol was found on Abdo, and a total of 12 bullets, one of which was loaded into the barrel, were seized.
"KURDISH FOX" HAD HIS MOTHER KILLED
Abdo, who was wanted with a red notice by Interpol, was taken to the Seyhan District Police Department. It was revealed that Abdo, who was associated with Rawa Majid, known as the "Kurdish Fox", and Majid had a falling out due to their failure to agree on taking over the drug market in Sweden. As a result, Majid had Abdo's mother, who lived in a villa in Uppsala, Sweden, killed in September 2023. It was also learned that many gang members tried to enter Turkey illegally as a result of the conflicts between the two groups.
ARMED FIGHT OCCURRED IN ISTANBUL'S SARIYER
In September 6, 2023, in Istanbul's Sarıyer district, gang members under Majid's command attacked a cafe with firearms, resulting in a clash with Abdo's members. Azeri citizen E.A. (37), who had nothing to do with the incident, was injured. Later, Abdo's gang members retaliated and killed one of Majid's men and injured another in an armed attack in Sarıyer on March 27.
RELEASED ON BAIL OF 20,000 LIRAS
After the procedures at the police station, Abdo was referred to the courthouse. Abdo was released on bail of 20,000 liras, while Ahmet Y. was released under judicial control for trial.
