According to information obtained from the Los Angeles County Coroner's Office, the death toll has risen to 29, with 12 people losing their lives in the Palisades Fire and 17 in the Eaton Fire.
2,090 STRUCTURES DAMAGED
In a statement from the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection, it was noted that the Palisades Fire, which spread over an area of 23,448 acres, is 95% contained. The Eaton Fire, which spread over an area of 14,021 acres, has been reported to be 99% extinguished. It was stated that at least 16,291 structures have become unusable, while damage has occurred in 2,090 structures.
