WHAT HAPPENED?

The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) had issued a red alert for the region due to these disasters. Monsoon rains, which are effective in the country between June and September every year, cause great damage. Scientists share the view that the irregular and excessive rainfall seen in the northeastern regions of Bangladesh and India in recent years is caused by climate change.
