After the İmralı visit, the DEM Party, which held talks with political parties in the Parliament, officially applied in writing to the Ministry of Justice today for the second İmralı visit.
AHMET TÜRK WILL ALSO BE IN THE SECOND VISIT

"PROMISING"
The DEM Party delegation visited political parties after the İmralı visit, and it was emphasized in a statement made last Friday that the discussions were "promising."
HOW DID THE İMRALI PROCESS BEGIN?
The process began with the call made by MHP General Chairman Devlet Bahçeli on October 22. In his statement at the party's group meeting, Bahçeli said, "If the terrorist leader's isolation is lifted, let him come and speak at the TBMM DEM Party Group Meeting, proclaiming that terrorism has completely ended and the organization has been dissolved. If he shows this determination and resolve, the legal regulation regarding the use of the 'right to hope' should be made, and the way for him to benefit from it should be opened wide." Shortly after this statement, Bahçeli called for permission to be granted to the DEM Party delegation to go to İmralı.
On November 26, the DEM Party applied to the Ministry of Justice to meet with terrorist organization leader Abdullah Öcalan in İmralı. On December 27, Justice Minister Yılmaz Tunç announced that the DEM Party's request for a meeting had been positively responded to. Following the permission, the DEM Party delegation met with terrorist leader Öcalan in İmralı on December 28, after a 4.5-year hiatus.
