Çanakkale Wars Historical Area Presidency announced that entries to the northern line of the Historical Area have been halted due to the fire. "Due to the ongoing forest fire around Eceabat district, for the safety of visitors, fire extinguishing efforts, and the protection of the area, entries to the Northern Line of the Historical Area (Sunken Ship, Mimoza, 57th Regiment, and Conkbayırı) have been halted until further notice. Additionally, Bigalı Castle, Bigalı Atatürk House, and the Çanakkale Epic Promotion Center will also be temporarily closed to visitors. We respectfully announce to the public," it was stated.
