In the Günyüzü district of Eskişehir, the official vehicle of District Governor Muhammed Raşit Kurt was involved in a head-on collision with another car. In the accident, Governor Kurt and his driver were injured, while the driver of the other vehicle lost his life.
The official vehicle of the District Governor of Günyüzü, Muhammed Raşit Kurt (33), collided head-on with another car coming from the opposite direction. In the accident, Governor Kurt and his driver were injured, while Mehmet Ali Tümer in the other vehicle lost his life.
THE GOVERNOR'S OFFICIAL VEHICLE COLLIDED HEAD-ON WITH A CAR
The accident occurred late at night in the Hamamkarahisar area of Sivrihisar district. The official vehicle with license plate 26 AA 112, in which Governor Muhammed Raşit Kurt was present, collided with the car with license plate 26 HE 018, driven by Mehmet Ali Tümer, coming from the opposite direction.
THE GOVERNOR AND DRIVER WERE INJURED
Upon receiving reports from witnesses of the accident, a large number of health and police teams were dispatched to the area. During the teams' inspection, it was determined that Governor Kurt and his driver Kömürcü were injured.
THE DRIVER OF THE CAR LOST HIS LIFE
In the other car, which was turned into a wreck, driver Tümer lost his life. Governor Kurt and his driver were taken to Eskişehir City Hospital by ambulance after the first intervention of the health teams. The body of the deceased Mehmet Ali Tümer was taken to the hospital morgue after the investigation by the prosecutor's office and police teams.
GOVERNOR YILMAZ: UNFORTUNATELY, THEY COLLIDED HEAD-ON
Eskişehir Governor Erdinç Yılmaz went to the City Hospital where Governor Kurt and his driver were taken after the accident. After receiving information about the injured and the accident, Yılmaz stated, "The accident occurred when two vehicles collided head-on while going from Sivrihisar to Günyüzü. There is no visible problem with our governor or our driver. Unfortunately, our citizen in the other vehicle has passed away. I pray for God's mercy on the deceased citizen, and I wish urgent healing to our governor and driver; unfortunately, they collided head-on."
