Su Uçuran Waterfall, one of the region's symbols with its natural beauty in the Reşadiye district of Tokat, has come back to life after a prolonged drought. The waterfall, which had completely dried up at one point and faced the danger of disappearing, has begun flowing again, once again revealing nature's power of renewal.

Su Uçuran Waterfall, located in the Reşadiye district of Tokat, has started flowing again after a dry period. The waterfall, which had completely dried up last summer due to hot weather and unconscious irrigation, had caused concern among the local population.

DROUGHT HAD SILENCED THE WATERFALL

The waterfall, located near Çakmak village in Reşadiye and noted for its natural beauty, had run dry in July 2025.

RAINS AND SNOWMELT GAVE IT LIFE

With the recent effective rains and the melting of snow in higher elevations, the waterfall has revived.

LOCALS ARE HAPPY

The Su Uçuran Waterfall, which has started flowing again, has pleased both the locals and passing citizens. Stating that the waterfall has begun to regain its former appearance, Süleyman Yaprak said, “The Su Uçuran Waterfall had dried up. Due to the recent rains, our waterfall has regained its former appearance. We are also very happy with this situation.”
