A 70-year-old man was found dead in the chair he was sitting on after stepping out onto the balcony in Antalya to get some fresh air and sunbathe in the morning. It was learned that his neighbors in the opposite apartment thought he was just sleeping and called out to the elderly man.

A heartbreaking death incident occurred in an apartment located on 104th Street in the Üçgen neighborhood of the Muratpaşa district in Antalya. According to the information obtained, 70-year-old İsmail Kabaağaç went out to the balcony to get fresh air and sunbathe, as he did every morning, in the house where he lived with his uncle.

NEIGHBORS CALLED OUT BUT RECEIVED NO RESPONSE

At noon, a neighbor living in the opposite apartment saw Kabaağaç sitting motionless in the chair. Despite calling out to him, the neighbor did not receive a response from Kabaağaç and reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center. Health and police teams were dispatched to the scene upon the notification. Since the apartment door was closed, the police teams who arrived at the scene requested support from the fire department.

Meanwhile, the neighborhood residents, who were watching the events with curious eyes, continued to call out to Kabaağaç, who was sitting in the chair. It was determined that İsmail Kabaağaç, who was motionless on the balcony, had passed away with the help of the fire department to enter the apartment. An examination by the forensic doctor revealed that Kabaağaç had died of a heart attack.

The apartment manager, Ramazan Dinç, stated that the elderly man went out to the balcony every morning to sunbathe, saying, "Neighbors from the opposite building saw him. The police came. Neighbors would come out and sit on the balcony every morning. He lived with his uncle; he was a simple person. I saw him just yesterday; he asked for something from the market. I took it down, he lowered the basket, and I gave him what he wanted."
