The files of Jeffrey Epstein, who was tried and found dead in prison in connection with charges of prostitution networks involving underage girls, have opened the door to a new scandal in France. A raid was conducted at the Paris headquarters of Rothschild Bank as part of the investigation.

A significant development has occurred in the investigation conducted in France regarding documents linked to Jeffrey Epstein, who was found dead in prison while being tried for charges of sex trafficking involving underage girls. It has been learned that a search was carried out at the Paris headquarters of Edmond de Rothschild Bank.

FRENCH DIPLOMAT AT THE CENTER OF THE INVESTIGATION

According to reports in the national press, the investigation conducted by the National Financial Prosecutor's Office is focusing on corruption allegations against French diplomat Fabrice Aidan, whose name appears in the Epstein documents.

SEARCH CONDUCTED AT THE BANK

Sources close to the case reported that a search was conducted at the Paris headquarters of Edmond de Rothschild Bank on March 20 as part of the investigation. It was stated that the bank's general manager, Ariane de Rothschild, was also present in the building during the search.

THE BANK IS COOPERATING

Sources close to the bank indicated that the institution is cooperating with the prosecutor's office and that all necessary information is being shared during the process.

ALLEGATIONS REACHING BACK IN TIME

These sources also reported that an internal review was initiated within the institution following the emergence of suspicions regarding Fabrice Aidan's tenure at the bank from 2014 to 2016. It was learned that Aidan provided a statement to the prosecutor's office at the end of February as part of the investigation.

THE JEFFREY EPSTEIN CASE

Epstein, who was charged with sexually abusing dozens of underage girls and establishing a sex trafficking network, was found dead in his cell at the New York Manhattan Metropolitan Correctional Center on August 10, 2019.

The disclosed Epstein case files included famous names such as former Prince Andrew, U.S. President Donald Trump, former U.S. President Bill Clinton, former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak, former U.S. Vice President Al Gore, actor Kevin Spacey, singer Michael Jackson, illusionist David Copperfield, lawyer Alan Dershowitz, and former New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson.

The FBI stated that, as a result of its investigation with the U.S. Department of Justice, no evidence was found regarding the existence of a "client list" consisting of famous individuals, and it was concluded that Epstein, who was alleged to have been murdered to cover up the crimes of individuals including government officials, celebrities, and businesspeople, actually committed suicide in his cell.

AIDAN'S NAME APPEARS IN 200 DOCUMENTS

Aidan's name appears in approximately 200 of the Epstein documents. The documents show that the French diplomat had numerous meetings with Epstein based on regular and diplomatic information exchange during his tenure at the United Nations (UN) in New York from 2010 to 2017.

It has been reported that the FBI informed the UN about suspicions that the French diplomat watched child abuse-related video sites during his tenure in New York, leading the UN to open an internal investigation against the French diplomat, after which Aidan suddenly left his position and returned to France.

French Foreign Minister Jean-Noel Barrot announced last February that they had initiated legal proceedings regarding Aidan, whose name appeared in the Epstein documents.

A judicial investigation was also launched last month against Aidan for allegedly watching inappropriate content sites.

Fabrice Aidan had worked at Edmond de Rothschild Bank before his position at the French energy company Engie.

After it was revealed that his name appeared in the Epstein documents, Aidan was suspended from his position at Engie.
