ZELENSKY IN ANKARA
Ukrainian President Volodimir Zelensky, who arrived at Esenboğa Airport in Ankara to meet with President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, evaluated the Russia-Ukraine negotiations to be held in Istanbul in a statement he made. Thanking President Erdoğan for organizing the meetings, Zelensky said, "First of all, I would like to thank President Erdoğan for organizing the meeting for direct negotiations to take place."

Explaining that they immediately approved the direct negotiations when they received a "signal" for the end of the Russia-Ukraine war, Zelensky noted that this is why they came to Ankara today.
