Under the leadership of Kayseri Governor Gökmen Çiçek, the ERVA Sports Clubs Project, launched with the slogan "One Sports School for Every Neighborhood," has quickly become one of Turkey's exemplary youth projects. The project, abbreviated as ERVA (We Exist with Our Values), is implemented with the support of the Kayseri Governorship, philanthropists, and non-governmental organizations. It not only provides sports opportunities but also aims to raise a confident and disciplined youth.

60 CLUBS 16 THOUSAND LICENSED ATHLETES

In the 3 years since its establishment, 60 different sports clubs have been created. These clubs offer training in football, basketball, volleyball, wrestling, taekwondo, and many other branches. The fact that 16 thousand young people have become licensed athletes in a short time showcases the success of the project.

EVERY SPORTS SCHOOL IS OPERATED BY AN INSTITUTION

A different model has been developed for the sustainability of ERVA Sports Clubs. Each sports school is operated by an institution or a non-governmental organization. This way, the clubs are sustained with the contributions of different segments of society.

COACHES ARE EMPLOYED BY BUSINESS PEOPLE

Another unique aspect of the project is that the coaches working in the sports schools are employed by the business people who are the patrons of the ERVA Sports Club. Thanks to the support provided by philanthropic business people, hundreds of coaches are brought together with young people, while the sustainability of sports is also secured.

A VIRTUOUS YOUTH IS GROWING WITH SPORTS

Kayseri Governor Gökmen Çiçek expressed his satisfaction with the progress of the project, stating:

"It is a great joy for us to reach 16 thousand licensed athletes in a short time on this path we embarked on to raise a youth that can play sports in every neighborhood and has high self-confidence. ERVA Sports Clubs not only raise young people who play sports but also lay the foundations of a generation equipped with discipline, brotherhood, and values."

Governor Çiçek also noted that ERVA Sports Clubs have started to serve as a sports club that offers free sports services to young people in every neighborhood, going beyond the concept of summer school, and will be active throughout the year. ERVA Sports Clubs will be active 365 days a year and will organize training programs in various branches to support the physical development of young people and ensure they are introduced to sports.

At the end of his remarks, Governor Gökmen Çiçek stated, "ERVA Sports Clubs, which spread the culture of sports to the grassroots in Kayseri, aim to reach more young people in more neighborhoods in the upcoming period. The project, which is growing with the support of the governorship, philanthropists, and non-governmental organizations, will continue to contribute to the spread of sports and the social and cultural development of young people."
