In an inspection conducted at a pide factory in the Devrek district of Zonguldak, disturbing images were recorded. It was observed that the meats in the factory were spoiled and had a foul odor, and the equipment was also rusted.
In Zonguldak, a pide production facility that was found to be operating under health-violating conditions was sealed by the Devrek Municipality Zoning Directorate teams during an inspection. The business was shut down due to spoiled meat and unsanitary conditions.
MEAT SPOILED, EQUIPMENT MOLDY
During the inspection of a pide production facility operating on Atatürk Street in the Yeni Mahalle neighborhood, the Devrek Municipality Zoning Directorate teams discovered spoiled and foul-smelling meat, as well as the presence of mold and rust in the production area.
ACTIVITIES SUSPENDED
As a result of the teams' investigations, it was decided to suspend the activities of the business that posed a threat to public health. After the inspection, the materials found in the facility were thrown into a garbage truck by municipal teams. Meanwhile, it was reflected in the footage that some individuals resisted during the closure of the business.
In a statement made by the Devrek Municipality, it was noted that regular inspections are conducted in businesses in the district, stating, "During today's inspections, we encountered images that completely disregard the health of citizens in the pide production facility. We will never allow such negative situations and will seal this business, not permitting any further pide production."
