"MY BABY'S FACE WAS PALE AND HE WAS TREMBLING"Doctor Mehmet Gürül kept us waiting with statements like "the condition is very good." We left after meeting the needs for diapers and formula. In the following weeks, when we visited, they said there was a problem with his lungs. They said they had started antibiotics and would discharge him in a few weeks. My baby's face was pale and he was trembling. Despite not being given formula, I was asked for formula every week. The following week, I went with a friend, and he could no longer open his eyes. After pressing the doctor a bit, we learned that he had contracted a lung infection in the hospital. The doctor said, "Don't worry, he will get through this." "THEY SENT US TO THE AMBULANCE WITH A FAULTY OXYGEN TANK"On the second day of the Eid al-Adha, they called me. They said, "Your child has been intubated." We urgently requested his transfer to another hospital amidst chaos. They dealt the final blow during the transfer. They sent us to the ambulance with a faulty oxygen tank. His condition during the transfer is attached; Mehmet Gürül told the doctor at the new hospital exactly this: "The child's condition is stable, there is no problem, etc." After being transferred to the new hospital, tests were immediately conducted. "THEY WANTED TO MEET WITH ME URGENTLY"The doctor wanted to meet with me urgently. He explained with lung X-rays and blood values that the previous hospital's doctor had deceived them and that we had been sent a wreck. He criticized the medications and treatment they provided. "They literally pressed all the buttons," he said. And he told us that they lied by saying, "The child's condition is stable." The oxygen levels in the blood were very poor. While anything below 100 is a major risk, his values were hovering around 70-80. When I visited the next day, the saturation value had dropped significantly. The nurses said that it was impossible for someone to live at those values, that he should be turning blue and should have passed away, but Harun Enes was fighting. He had passed away 10 minutes earlier. It was the first time we touched him; he was still warm. Only Allah and my friends know what we went through during those days. My aim is not to make literature or engage in demagoguery. I left all the hatred, anger, and rage inside me for the afterlife. I have no hope whatsoever in the justice of this system. If Allah, the owner of the Day of Judgment, were to do even one millionth of what he would do to those responsible, no one in the world could do that to those murderers. With the hope of reuniting with my Harun Enes in heaven. I received another blow when I heard that his doctor was released. #babykillers are still roaming among us.
