Former Search and Rescue Association (AKUT) President Nasuh Mahruki, who was arrested due to expressions used on his social media account, has been released. Following his release, Mahruki shared a photo taken with his family on his social media account with the note "We are reunited."

In the continuation of his post, Mahruki stated, "We never lost our belief and trust in the conscience, common sense, high morality, and justice of the Turkish nation, and in the existence of fair legal individuals, even for a moment."

WHAT HAD HAPPENED?
Nasuh Mahruki, one of the founders of AKUT, was arrested by the court after criticizing the statements of the Chairman of the Supreme Election Council (YSK) Ahmet Yener regarding electronic voting after the US elections on social media, and an investigation was launched against him for "publicly spreading misleading information" and "publicly insulting judicial authorities." Mahruki's lawyers submitted an objection petition against his detention, but the court rejected it.
