The first statement regarding the incident where former president Hasan Arat was punched at the Ordinary Divan Assembly Meeting came from Beşiktaş President Serdal Adalı. In a written statement, Adalı said, "Unfortunately, they ruined today, which we hoped would go well due to positive developments. Such incidents will not happen again under the roof of Beşiktaş."
Beşiktaş President Serdal Adalı issued a statement regarding the incident that occurred between former presidents Hasan Arat and Divan Kurulu Tevfik Yamantürk at the Ordinary Divan Assembly Meeting.
"THEY BROUGHT IT TO OUR NOSE"
Serdal Adalı's statement is as follows;
"Unfortunately, they brought today, which we hoped would be a beautiful day due to the positive developments we shared with our community, to our nose.
The events that took place during our Divan Assembly meeting today have deeply saddened our community.
These images and events are not befitting of Beşiktaş, the leading club of Turkish sports.
While we have been calling for unity and solidarity since the day we took office, we aimed to prevent these images while stating that our community needs to make a new beginning.
The Beşiktaş community has not gone through easy days; we are all in a difficult process due to what has been inflicted on Beşiktaş, but with the new era, we must normalize as soon as possible and use our energy for Beşiktaş's success.
If we do not individually get rid of this psychology, we cannot do what is necessary to save Beşiktaş from its current situation.
These images that led us to sadness, anger, and shame today will remain a bad memory, and such incidents will not happen again under the roof of Beşiktaş.
We will return Beşiktaş to its culture, which we all know, love, and represent, and to its identity, which is a collection of values. We will achieve this together as a community.
Such actions and statements have no benefit to our Beşiktaş. If a decision needs to be made, a punishment needs to be imposed, or an action needs to be taken, we will do what is necessary together after the decisions of the esteemed Turkish justice.
I hope that what happened today will not be repeated, and I wish our football team success in the Başakşehir match.

HÜSEYİN YÜCEL: NO ONE IS BIGGER THAN BEŞİKTAŞ
On the other hand, there was also a statement from Hüseyin Yücel, who took the presidency after Hasan Arat from the black-and-white side, regarding the incidents. Yücel's words shared on social media are as follows;
"Dear Beşiktaş supporters,
I followed our Divan Assembly meeting and the events that are unbecoming of the Beşiktaş stance with sadness.
It is unacceptable for the president of the assembly, who is expected to calm and manage such possible situations, to be involved in the incident. It is necessary for the esteemed President of the Divan Assembly to make a statement regarding the events.
The Beşiktaş community has unfortunately been very tense for a long time. The seeds of these tensions were sown years ago. Everyone should act with their minds. Unity and solidarity should be achieved in essence, not just in words.
It should be clearly known:
No one is bigger than Beşiktaş."
HASAN ARAT PUNCHED
The 1st Ordinary Divan Assembly Meeting of Beşiktaş for the year 2025 is being held at the Istanbul Lütfi Kırdar Congress and Exhibition Center. While former president Hasan Arat was delivering his speech, voices rose in the hall. After the voices rose, while Arat continued his speech, the tension escalated further. Arat experienced tension with Divan Assembly President Tevfik Yamantürk as Yamantürk intervened. It was seen that Yamantürk punched Arat, and then someone from the hall came and punched Hasan Arat. After the chaos, the ordinary divan assembly meeting was adjourned.
