Ali Daaboul, who was caught in the house where he was hiding after stabbing his mother, Zukaa Mahmoud, to death at the kebab shop where he worked, has been sent to court. It has been revealed that Mahmoud and her son Daaboul had an argument because she wanted him and his pregnant wife, H.Y., to leave the house.
On June 11, in the Gülbahçesi neighborhood of Seyhan district, an incident occurred where Zukaa Mahmoud, a mother of five working as a dishwasher in a kebab shop, left her home early in the morning and went to work. While Mahmoud was cleaning, her son Ali Daaboul, a textile worker, arrived shortly after. In the ensuing argument, Daaboul grabbed a knife from the counter and stabbed his mother multiple times. Zukaa Mahmoud was injured with four knife wounds to her chest and throat, collapsing to the ground in a pool of blood, while Ali Daaboul fled the scene. The medical teams that were called confirmed that Mahmoud had lost her life.
THEY HAD ARGUMENTED ON THE PHONE BEFORE THE MURDER
The homicide bureau teams that initiated an investigation into the incident determined that the suspect was hiding in a house in Sümer neighborhood. The police conducted an operation at the address and captured Ali Daaboul. The investigation revealed that Zukaa Mahmoud had asked her daughter-in-law H.Y. and her son Ali Daaboul to leave the house. It was reported that on the morning of the incident, Ali Daaboul, who took his pregnant wife H.Y. to the hospital for a check-up, had argued with his mother on the phone, and the murder was committed for this reason.
"I COMMITTED THE MURDER IN A MOMENT OF ANGER"
Ali Daaboul, who was taken to the police station, stated in his testimony, "My mother wanted me to leave the house with my pregnant wife. That's why we had been having problems for a while. That morning, when we argued on the phone, I lost control. I committed the murder in a moment of anger." After the procedures were completed, Daaboul was referred to the courthouse. Mahmoud's lifeless body was buried after the autopsy.
