Kastamonu Governor Meftun Dallı made a statement regarding Huriye Helvacı, the mother, and her 5-year-old son Osman Helvacı, whose lifeless bodies were found 9 days after they went missing in the Bozkurt district. Governor Dallı stated, "There is no visible harm to the bodily integrity of both our child and the mother. No bruises or signs of assault were found." Meanwhile, the lifeless bodies of the mother and son were removed from the locations where they were found and sent to the Ankara Forensic Medicine Institution for autopsy.

LIFLESS BODIES FOUND

On the 9th day of the search efforts, the lifeless body of little Osman was found at the edge of a cliff in Köseali village. About 3 hours later, the lifeless body of mother Huriye Helvacı was found approximately 200 meters from the spot where her son was located.

STATEMENT FROM THE GOVERNORATE

In a statement regarding the matter from the Kastamonu Governorate, it was stated: "In Köseali village, which is connected to our Bozkurt district, the search efforts for Huriye Helvacı (43) and Osman Yaşar Helvacı (5), who have been missing since November 2, 2025, have led to the discovery of Osman Yaşar Helvacı's lifeless body, followed by the lifeless body of mother Huriye Helvacı at 15:20 in the same area."

BODIES REMOVED

The lifeless bodies of the mother and son were removed from their locations and transported to the ambulance after examinations were conducted at the scene. The bodies were then sent to the Ankara Forensic Medicine Institution for autopsy.

GOVERNOR DALLI: NO HARM FOUND TO BODILY INTEGRITY

Kastamonu Governor Meftun Dallı, who arrived at the scene, stated to reporters after the search efforts, "From the moment the report reached us, we mobilized all resources for search and rescue, including AFAD, gendarmerie, and police teams. We continued our search activities with a team of approximately 200 people every day. We are saddened; we prayed to find them alive, but unfortunately, we reached the lifeless bodies of both. I wish mercy from God and condolences to their families."

Providing information about the judicial process, Dallı stated, "The Forensic Medicine Institution will be involved. There is no visible harm to the bodily integrity of our child or his mother. No bruises or signs of assault were found. It would not be correct for me to say anything beyond this. The Public Prosecutor's Office is continuing its work, and we have not received any new information regarding the judicial aspect."

Governor Dallı noted that the mother and son were found approximately 50 meters apart, stating, "The terrain is very difficult; our machinery is currently clearing a path. They will be transported from there by vehicle later. I thank all my team members who contributed."

CONFUSING WORDS FROM THE EX-HUSBAND

On the other hand, Bayram Helvacı, the husband of Huriye Helvacı, who participated in the program "Müge Anlı ile Tatlı Sert," stated that he learned that his wife had spoken with her ex-brother-in-law Mustafa before she went missing. The ex-brother-in-law, who is at the center of the allegations, participated in a live broadcast and stated that he had spoken with Huriye Helvacı a few days before she went missing. The person named Mustafa said, "He would call to ask how I was, I have no connection to her disappearance."

Mustafa, who stated that he went to their house before Huriye Helvacı went missing, responded to the question, "Did your husband not call you and say 'why did you go to my house?'" by saying, "I had an old number. I got a new number, so he didn't have my phone number." In response to the statement, "But you have her number," he replied, "Am I supposed to give my number just because I am talking to your wife?"
