Governor Dallı stated, "There is no visible harm to the bodily integrity of both our child and the mother. No bruises or signs of assault were found." Meanwhile, the lifeless bodies of the mother and son were removed from the locations where they were found and sent to the Ankara Forensic Medicine Institution for autopsy.

Kastamonu Governor Meftun Dallı, who arrived at the scene, stated to reporters after the search efforts, "From the moment the report reached us, we mobilized all resources for search and rescue, including AFAD, gendarmerie, and police teams. We continued our search activities with a team of approximately 200 people every day. We are saddened; we prayed to find them alive, but unfortunately, we reached the lifeless bodies of both. I wish mercy from God and condolences to their families."
