The first support for Gülhan Çağlayan, the grieving mother of Atlas Çağlayan who was killed by 15-year-old E.Ç. under the pretext of "You looked at me," came from Yasemin Minguzzi. Minguzzi, who shared her pain by texting Çağlayan, expressed that she would visit her when she returned from Mecca. Gülhan Çağlayan stated, "You were the first person that came to my mind. My heart also burned with you. Now it has happened to me."
In Istanbul Güngören, during a dispute between two groups under the age of 18 over "looking sideways," 15-year-old E.Ç. stabbed 17-year-old Atlas Çağlayan in the chest, killing him. E.Ç. was arrested and sent to the Karatepe Children's and Youth Closed Penitentiary Institution in Tekirdağ. The incident reminded people of the murder of Mattia Ahmet Minguzzi, who was stabbed to death by 15-year-old offenders in Kadıköy. For this reason, the Atlas Çağlayan murder began to be referred to in the public as the "Second Minguzzi case." Yasemin Minguzzi sent a supportive message to Gülhan Çağlayan, Atlas Çağlayan's mother.
Atlas Çağlayan "MY HEART IS BROKEN TOO" Yasemin Minguzzi, who was in the holy lands to perform the Umrah pilgrimage, shared her pain with Gülhan Çağlayan, Atlas Çağlayan's mother, by sending a message. It has now happened to me."
Mattia Ahmet Minguzzi "I WILL COME TO YOU AS SOON AS POSSIBLE" Yasemin Minguzzi stated that she was in Mecca and would visit Gülhan Çağlayan after her return, saying that she prayed for both Atlas Çağlayan and the family in the holy lands.
