While mourning the biology teacher Fatma Nur Çelik, who was killed by a high school student in Çekmeköy, Istanbul, another incident of violence in educational institutions occurred in Van. A parent, claiming that an object had gotten into their child's eye at an elementary school in the city, came to the school and physically assaulted a young student with kicks and punches.
After the murder of teacher Fatma Nur Çelik, while discussions about security in educational institutions are on the agenda, the footage coming from Van is beyond comprehension.
PARENT INTERVENTION IN CHILDREN'S FIGHT
According to the claim, the incident started with a dispute between two students at an elementary school in Van. It was alleged that during the fight between the students, an object hit one child's eye. The parent of the student, upon learning of the situation, angrily came to the school and searched for the student they believed was responsible for the incident.
HE WAS ATTACKING THE LITTLE STUDENT
The parent who entered the school found the young student who allegedly threw an object at their child and began to assault him with kicks and slaps.
A girl student, who could not remain indifferent to the violence, intervened and tried to protect the assaulted child. Those moments were captured by security cameras.
