APPROACHED ON MOTORCYCLE AND SLASHED ARM
The incident occurred the previous day on Kayatürk Street in Merkez Mahallesi. According to allegations, E.K. (23) approached N.T. (55), with whom he had a prior argument, on a motorcycle and attacked him with a knife. After slashing N.T.'s arm, the suspect quickly fled the scene.
REALIZED INJURY LATER
N.T., who did not initially understand what had happened, soon realized he was injured on his arm. Following a report, medical teams were dispatched, and the injured individual was taken to the hospital for treatment.
IDENTIFIED THROUGH CAMERAS
After the incident, efforts to apprehend the suspect were initiated under the directive of the Anamur Chief Public Prosecutor's Office. Bozyazı District Police Department teams reviewed security camera footage, identified the suspect E.K., and took him into custody.
CONFESSED TO THE CRIME
It was learned that E.K., who was taken into custody, confessed to the crime and handed over the knife used in the attack to the police. After processing at the police station, he was referred to the courthouse, where judicial control measures were imposed on the suspect.
