The color of the water in the Doğanpınar Dam Lake, located in the Oğuzeli district of Gaziantep, has turned green. An explanation was made by the Gaziantep Governorship regarding the incident. It was stated in the announcement that an investigation has been initiated. In the statement made from the governorship's social media account, it was noted that technical teams from the Provincial Directorate of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, as well as the Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry, conducted an examination on the green-colored layer detected in the dam lake water. In the announcement, it was stated that an algal bloom was detected in the water during the investigation, and it was said, "Subsequently, a water sample was taken to be sent to the Environmental Reference Laboratory of the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, and actions will be taken based on the analysis results."
