In the Kestel district of Bursa, fires broke out simultaneously in the morning hours in the pine forests on the slopes of Uludağ, in the Derekızık, Aktaştepe, and Karapınar areas. Teams are responding with 2 helicopters from the air and 8 water tenders, 3 water tankers, 6 initial response vehicles, and 4 dozers from the ground. The Metropolitan Municipality Fire Department, gendarmerie, and local residents are providing support. Authorities stated that extinguishing efforts are ongoing in all three areas and that an investigation has been launched.

In the morning hours, forest fires broke out in the Derekızık village, Aktaştepe, and Karapınar regions. Forestry and firefighting teams intervened in the flames in a short time.

It was learned that the fire in the upper points of the water factories in Derekızık village continues, and the flames are being intervened with 2 helicopters, 8 water tenders, 3 water tankers, 6 first intervention and service vehicles, and 4 bulldozers affiliated with the Bursa Regional Directorate of Forestry.
In addition to the Metropolitan Municipality Fire Department, gendarmerie and local residents are also supporting the extinguishing efforts.
