The former district chairman of the AK Party, O.T. K., who resisted police teams and hurled insults in Nevşehir, has been arrested.

The traffic police teams operating in Nevşehir received a tip-off about an individual named O.T.K. who was driving under the influence of alcohol. Evaluating the tip, the teams began searching for the suspect's vehicle.

CAUGHT DRUNK

The teams stopped the vehicle with the license plate 66 ADT 923, which was being driven by the individual, on Damat İbrahim Paşa Boulevard in Emek Neighborhood. In the alcohol test conducted, it was determined that O.T.K. had a blood alcohol level of 2.51 promille and resisted the police teams who wanted to take action.

INSULTED THE POLICE

The driver, who resisted the police teams trying to detain him, began to threaten, insult, and curse at the police officers.

ARRESTED

The individual, who was detained by the police teams, had his driver's license confiscated for 6 months and was fined 9,000 lira. After the procedures at the police station, O.T.K. was arrested by the judicial authorities to whom he was referred.
