Meliha V.'s daughter, who answered the phone, said that her mother passed away on May 3. Upon this, C.Ç. came to Kırıkkale from outside the province and entered the apartment by having a locksmith open the door.
A DISMEMBERED BODY WAS FOUND IN THE FRIDGE
C.Ç. found a dismembered body in the refrigerator and deep freezer at the house. Following C.Ç.'s report, a large number of police teams were dispatched to the address. During the investigation, it was determined that the male body had been dismembered and placed in garbage bags inside the deep freezer and the freezer compartment of the refrigerator. A knife and a cleaver were seized during the search of the house.
THE BODY TURNED OUT TO BELONG TO A MISSING MAN SINCE 2014
After the examination at the house, the body was taken to the Kırıkkale Forensic Medicine Institution. It was determined that the body belonged to Hüseyin Okumuşoğlu, who went missing after going from Ankara to Kırıkkale in 2014, at that time 40 years old. Four suspects were detained in connection with the incident.
"WE DIDN'T SMELL ANYTHING"
Lütfü Gümüşsoy, who lives in the apartment, said, "We don't know who lives in the house. Occasionally, we would call the landlord and ask who was living there. He would say, 'I am collecting the rent.' We thought, 'There is someone, they come and go occasionally.' Yesterday, the landlord came and said he would bring a locksmith to open the door. He came today and said, 'There is a problematic situation.' We didn't smell anything in the apartment."
